Hotel reviews for Marina Suites

Marina suites have only been open approx 1 year and are the best presented apartments I have ever stayed in. The apartments are in deed suites.the bedrooms are larger than most 1 bed apartments I`ve stayed in ! Large bathroom with bath and shower , extremely spacious lounge area with secret screened away kitchenette (kettle , microwave , oven and hob , toaster , coffee maker and fridge);.Furnished to and maintained to extremely high standards. Quiet location (didn`t think there was one in Puerto Rico !); overlooking the eastern Marina.All rooms have a sea view , the majority also looking across the Marina to the beach , More suited to couples rather than families , there are some daytime activities but are very low key. The pool area and gardens are beautifully set out and maintained with ample supply of sunbeds. The pool looks out over the Atlantic with a superb poolside bar/restaurant serving limited menu of daytime snacks but are immaculately prepared and presented and best of all good to eat , try the toasted chicken sandwich , and very competitively priced.
The staff are all well dressed and helpful , even the cleaners look like they`ve just come from the Clinique franchise in The House of Fraser !
Approx 5 to 10 mins steady amble to the centre of Puerto Rico but all along the flat.
Full A`l Carte menu resturant at the Suites can be a little pricey but the food is exceptional.
visited at the beginning of April 2005 with my self and wife plus my daughter and her friend both 16 we all had a great time with great weather made even better by the comfort afforded by our accomodation
